i am tall, but i wished i was a about 20 or 30 feet tall, because while marching you could get a sense of how big the crowd was but you couldn't actually see it. i would have liked to run up into one of the buildings along the route and look down. they say at one point there was a solid mass of protesters filling up broadway from 38th street to washington sq park (which is at, uh, 6th?). next.
