Holy Moley was it ever raining in Texas. I always thought Texas was a big dusty wasteland. Now I learn Austin (I really liked Austin) is a green city and that, as far as rain goes, Texas sure got a bunch the past week or so. There were a few parts of the early drive that were pretty scary because of the sheer volume of rain.
